Sorry for late answer but i don't have this phone right now but briefly i will explain you how i did it. hope you understand.

requirement: iROOT and NO WIFI(Don't connect to ANY WIFI)

1- you can enable USB debugging with BST and other tools

2- open Run iROOT in your computer (NOT to ROOT the PHONE), after install some apps, you will see iRoot says "CONNECTED"

3- DON'T CLICK ROOT. remove USB cable and leave the screen with the iROot app on the top your screen.

4- LOOK IN THE TOP-LEFT of your screen you will see a back arrow, click on it.

5-the app is in chinese but i don't speak chinese, SEARCH ANYTHING IN THE SEARCH BAR, phone will show a disabled icon for wifi.

6- CLick on the icon it will bring you the setting.

7- BACK and go to backup and reset. then reset your phone

NOTE1: before i did it I added and HTC account and PIN Security. DO the 7 setp super fast

NOTE2:in the step 5, if you play with other setting in the iROOT app it can bring you the PHONE SETTING, it worked for me

I did the same thing and got to settings and to the part to rest the phone , but the button to rest the phone is blank . I can't press it
